License and terms of use

Last updated 4 November 2026

These terms apply when you visit shuroo.app (“the site”). They also explain where the Shuroo software stands on licensing. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

In short
  • Shuroo isn’t released yet, and no one has a license to the software.
  • You’re welcome to read this site, link to it and share it.
  • Your launch-list address is used only to tell you when Shuroo is ready. Email us and we’ll remove it.
  • The site is provided as it is, and what it says about Shuroo describes plans.

Who we are

Shuroo (“we”, “us”) runs shuroo.app. How to reach us is at the end of this page.

The Shuroo software and its license

Shuroo is still in development and has not been released. This site and these terms do not grant a license to the Shuroo software, its source code, or any early version of it. Until we publish a license, all rights in the software are reserved.

When Shuroo is released, it will come with its own license, shown before you install or start using it, and we will publish that license on this site. Where that license differs from these terms, it decides how you may use the software. These terms continue to cover your use of the site.

The content of this site

The text, page design and logos on this site belong to us, apart from the third-party components listed below. You may:

You may not copy the site or large parts of it, republish it, or use the Shuroo name or logo in a way that suggests we made, endorse or are connected with your product or service. These terms give you no right to the name or logo.

Third-party components

The site uses two fonts, served from shuroo.app itself, each under the SIL Open Font License 1.1:

Those licenses cover the fonts only, not the rest of the site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which also provides its visit statistics.

Using the site

Please use the site lawfully and considerately. In particular, don’t:

If you find a security problem, please tell us instead of using it.

The launch list and visit statistics

When you enter your email address on the home page, we store the address and the date and time you signed up, with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. We use the address only to tell you when Shuroo is ready, as the form says.

To have your address removed, email us at the address below with the address you signed up with, and we will delete it.

The site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, so we can see how many people visit and which pages they view.

Plans, not promises

Shuroo is in development. What the site says about it, including the preview of a planned day, describes what we intend to build. Features, names and timing may change, and Shuroo may be delayed or may never be released. Please don’t rely on the site when making decisions about your work or business.

No warranty, limited liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no promise that it will always work, be accurate or be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy you have under the law that cannot be limited or excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
